Our Programs
Programs and School Assemblies Offered by Colibrí:
- One or two set concerts the whole family can enjoy
- Performances for English speaking, Spanish speaking or bilingual audiences
- Special presentations for festivals and holidays
Workshops for Students and/or Teachers:
Latin American Songs: Participants learn to sing traditional songs from at least three different countries. Lyrics and translations are provided.
Latin American Rhythms: Students learn to play two or three rhythms on claves, maracas and/or drums. They also sing songs based on these rhythms.
Teaching Spanish Through Song: Students learn songs that are fun and educational at different levels of Spanish language acquisition.
